Waivers

Below are GENERAL Airsoft Rules

NO PLAYERS UNDER THE AGE OF 10 ALLOWED FOR AIRSOFT GAMING!

ANY PLAYER THAT VIOLATES ANY OF THESE RULES IS SUBJECT TO PUNISHMENT BASED ON SEVERITY/INTENT OF VIOLATION

As per the waiver you sign to play, we are allowed to refuse/terminate your participation with no refund if you endanger a third party, the safety of other players, or are deemed unable to participate.

Safety

  • Face protection must remain on at all times when in the field.
  • Face protection must consist of ANSI rated, full seal goggles with a metal mesh or plastic lower face shield, or a full paintball mask.

Staging

  • All guns must have a barrel sock on
  • If not in use, then hidden in a gun bag is fine
  • No talking during game briefing
  • ALL REF DECISIONS ARE FINAL

    Barrel Socks and Safeties

    • Barrel socks MUST REMAIN ON until you enter the field
    • If you have a rental gun, you must leave the barrel sock attached to the trigger guard
    • Even if your barrel sock is on and your mag is out, do not shoot in the staging area unless you are at the chrono station
    • Barrel socks must go back on BEFORE you exit field

    Pistols

    • Safety on and in holster while off-field
    • No holster: safety on and magazine out

    General Gameplay

    • No blind firing at any time
    • Thunder B's must be thrown underhand and have no kill affect or radius
    • There is no kill radius/dead room rule for grenades, the BBs must make contact with a player to count

    Field Muzzle Velocity Limits

    • Muzzle energy is 1.42 Joules which works out to 350FPS (Feet Per Second) w/.25g or 390FPS w/.20g
    • All HPA (High Pressure Air) guns must chrono at 320FPS w/.25g
    • If you suspect someone is shooting hot, talk to a ref so we can re-chrono

    Rear Fire Escape

    • For ventilation
    • Don’t go out onto it
    • Don’t shoot out of it

    Pre-Game

    • Limit pre-game shooting
    • You may test your guns until “Stop firing” is called, at which point no shot should be fired until game start
    • The game will not start until everybody is touching the wall
    • Everyone must stay on the wall until the game starts
    • Wait until “game start” (The numbers 3, 2 nor 1 mean game start)

    General Calling Hits

Airsoft is a game based on the honor system, not playing honorably is a problem

    • If you’re hit, say “hit,” put your hands up, and red rag on if you have one
    • Friendly fire DOES count
    • Ricochets DO NOT count
    • Must be a direct impact
    • DO NOT call other people’s hits (call over a ref if you think someone is cheating)

    Overshooting

    • If you see someone with their hands up, a red rag on their head, or hear them call hit, they are out
    • If you are dead and walking, avoid crossfire if you don’t want to get hit
      • Understand you may be hit if you are walking
    • We require a trigger guard, and your hand must remain fully on the grip as you are firing

    (This is to avoid over-shooting)

    Safety Kills

    • If closer than 5 feet from the barrel of your gun you MUST safety kill (not an option)
    • Only the words 'Safety' or 'Safety Kill' will count (Not Bang-Bang, surrender, or anything else)
    • If there is a controversy, both call out
    • To safety kill, you must have your gun raised and be able to aim at the target (aka, not through walls, no “blind firing” safety kills)
    • Knife and Nerf kills are legal and are supplements for safety kills (no blind firing)
    • Do not throw knives or any other objects

    Respawns

    • If you get hit during a game with respawns, follow standard hit procedure and return to the wall you started on
    • Stay on respawn until you hear “respawn”
    • If you are not already back at the wall when you hear “respawn” you are NOT back in, continue to the wall and wait until the next spawn
    • DEAD MEN TELL NO TALES
    • If you run out of ammo on the field you may leave the field and reload, then enter again AT YOUR SPAWN and wait until the next respawn to continue playing
    • If the game is a no-respawn game, wait until the next game.

    Post Game

    • "Cease Fire" means that all shooting is to stop
    • Barrel socks on, magazines out
    • Face protection MUST remain on
    • Walk to the nearest exit

    Destruction

    • Don’t use BBs that you find on the floor, especially in rental guns
    • This will destroy the guns and the pellet shards can penetrate masks
    • DO NOT move the field or any props on the field
    • DO NOT climb on or in anything
    • DO NOT shoot the windows
    • DO NOT shoot at or through the flaps from either side
    • DO NOT shoot at the roof or the lights
    • DO NOT enter the car it is a bunker and only a bunker
Malicious destruction of field property is subject to ejection from the facility with no refund and possible further legal action
