The FN M249 LMG was born out of true necessity; a need for something lighter than the M60 while still being able to provide ample suppressive firepower. This lightweight evolution of the machine gun is currently in service in the hands of the US military, as well as over 75 other nations around the world.

Based on the FN Minimi, the M249 uses a 5.56x45mm NATO cartridge in a belt-fed configuration, supplied from a plastic box magazine. In a pinch, you may also use STANAG compatible M16 magazines in this weapon system. Over the years the M249 has seen quite a few variants, all purpose-tailored to individual's needs.

Still remains to be the best field in New England. Great selection at the pro shop. They also have online shopping with shipping and store pick up options available. Great admission price and large adaptable field. Perfect for experienced and new players with rental packages available. Unfortunately I wish they have more weekday games available as they are usually only open to airsoft session on weekends but the store will still remain open for your shopping needs. Not to mention they fix and buy used airsoft guns.

Very nice staff, had everything I needed. I would definitely recommend this place to any airsoft players. They have a great field, and overall a great community. They gave advice as what direction to head next with some of my guns and helped me fix issues with my arp9. They had everything I needed in stock for the arp9 and my other guns. Recommend 6/5 stars.
